Striped Bass Recipes

Fish are easily available in the market, quick to prepare, and delicious to taste. Small wonder, these qualities make them a favorite food on the list. The recipes that I have mentioned below are related to fish that can be prepared in the least amount of time. So, get ready to try these tasty fish recipes.

Delicious Striped Bass Recipes

Grilled Striped Bass

Ingredients
  • Striped Bass Fillets - 6 ounce
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper - teaspoon
  • Salt - teaspoon
  • Cooking spray
Procedure

On medium to high heat, prepare the grill. Sprinkle some striped bass fillets on the grill. Along with that, sprinkle freshly ground black pepper and salt. On a grill rack coated with cooking spray, place the fish. Allow the fish to be grilled for 4 minutes. Make sure that the fish has been evenly grilled. With this, you are ready with the fillets to be served with salsa.

Baked Striped Bass

Ingredients
  • Striped bass fillets or rockfish - 1 pound
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • White wine - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Seafood seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Worcestershire sauce
Procedure

In a baking dish or in a foil lined baking pan, place all the fillets. In a bowl, mix white wine, Worcestershire sauce, seafood seasoning and lemon juice. Spread this mixture evenly over the fillets. Make sure that the layer is thin. Allow this whole thing to bake for 8 to 10 minutes at a temperature of 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Your baked striped bass is ready to serve your taste-buds as a successful appetizer.

Whole Striped Bass

Ingredients
  • Whole striped bass (gutted and scaled) - 2 to 3 pounds
  • Fresh parsley - 1 large bunch
  • Fresh dill - 1 large bunch
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon (sliced strips) - 1
  • Onion (thinly sliced) - 1
  • Kosher salt - 2 tablespoons
  • Freshly ground black pepper - 2 teaspoons
Procedure

First, the fins should be trimmed. Rinse and pat dry the fish and lay them aside. Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a roasting pan. Add onion, lemon, dill and half of the parsley to the pan. Take another pan and put half of this mixture and place the fish over it. Make sure that you have coated the fish with salt and pepper. Spread the remaining mixture over the fish and smear some olive oil over it. Cover the pan tightly with a lid and allow the fish and the mixture to cook well for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove it from the oven, allow it to cool and serve. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Broiled Striped Bass

Ingredients
  • Striped bass fillets (boneless) - 8oz
  • Onion (sliced into rings) - 1
  • Butter or margarine - cup
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 teaspoons
  • Lemon pepper - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemons - 2
  • Cayenne red pepper - teaspoon
Procedure

Melt the butter and dip striped bass fillets into it. After this, place it on a non-stick broiler pan. Sprinkle lemon pepper and cayenne red pepper evenly on the fish. Lace the onion rings over the fish and spread some Worcestershire sauce. Allow it to bake for 8 minutes at a temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit in an oven rack. Remove it from the oven after the given time-lapse and let it to cool for 3 minutes. To savor the fish all the more, don't forget to squeeze a lemon over it. You can serve the platter now.

Fried Striped Bass

Ingredients
  • Striped bass fillets (without skin) - 2 pounds
  • Flour - 1/2 cup
  • Eggs - 3
  • Cracker crumbs - 2 cups
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 tablespoon
  • Freshly ground pepper - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon wedges
Procedure

In a shallow bowl, put some flour and season it with salt and pepper. In another bowl, break the eggs and beat them well. With the next container in line, put some cracker crumbs and add some salt and pepper to it. Dredge the fish strips in flour. Follow it up by dipping them in eggs and then finally, coating them with seasoned crumbs. In a large baking sheet, place the fish fingers, cover it with a plastic wrap and allow it to refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan for some time. Sense an appropriate temperature and fry the fish fingers till their color changes to golden brown. Place the pan off the flame and lay them one by one on paper towels for the extra oil absorption.
