Canned Salmon Recipes

Canned salmon is a most preferred option by many till date. Here, you might find the skin and bones left or removed as well. It is used to make a variety of interesting dishes. Here are some delicious and lip smacking canned salmon recipes.

Yummy Salmon Wrap

Ingredients
Green onions - chopped (2)
Thinly julienned daikon radish (1/3 cup)
Chopped cucumber (1/3 cup)
Rice wine vinegar (1 tablespoon)
Ground ginger (1/8 teaspoon)
Flour tortillas (2)
Cooked white rice (1 cup)
Sesame seeds (2 teaspoons)
Soy sauce (1 tablespoon)
Wasabi paste (1/4 teaspoon)
Canned salmon - drained

Preparation
Take a small bowl and add the green onion along with the daikon radish and cucumber into this. Now, take a separate bowl and add some amount of soy sauce to rice wine vinegar and the wasabi paste. Also add some ground ginger as well. Now, place the tortillas on a flat surface. Then, you need to divide the rice into equal portions and lay them in the center of both the tortillas. Then, you would need to place half of the salmon and the vegetable mixture on top of this rice preparation. Sprinkle some of the soy sauce mixture on the vegetable mixture. Take around a teaspoon of sesame seeds and sprinkle them over this preparation. Now, wrap the edges of the tortilla to cover it from the sides. Your salmon is ready to be served.

Canned Salmon with Noodles

Ingredients
Green bell pepper - chopped (1/4 cup)
Chopped onion - (1/4 cup)
Milk (1/2 cup)
Cheddar cheese - shredded (1-1/2 cups)
Canned salmon - drained and flaked (16 ounces)
Medium noodles - cooked (4 ounces)
Sliced black olives - optional (1/4 cup)
Butter (2 tablespoons)
Condensed cream of celery soup - undiluted (1 can (10 1/2 oz))
Soft bread crumbs (1 cup) you need to toss them with 1 tablespoon melted butter

Preparation
Cook some amount of green pepper and onion in a saucepan and add around 2 tablespoons of butter to this. Cook the preparation till it turns tender. Then, add the condensed cream of celery soup along with milk. Heat this preparation till it turns bubbly. Keep stirring this constantly. Then, add some cheese to this. Cook it till the cheese turns tender. Now, add the salmons along with some amount of olives and noodles. Now, take a casserole and place this preparation into the casserole. Add the buttered breadcrumbs to this. Bake the preparation at 350 degrees for duration of 30 minutes.

Easy Salmon Salad

Ingredients
Salmon - drained and flaked (1 can)
Cucumber - peeled and chopped (1 medium)
Chopped celery (1/2 cup)
Radishes - sliced (4)
Lettuce/Mixed salad greens
Green bell pepper - chopped (1/2 small)
Mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
Grated onion (1 teaspoon)

Preparation
Make a combination of cucumber along with celery and add some radish and green bell pepper to this. Then, make a combination of mayonnaise and lemon juice with onion and add this to the salmon mixture. Blend well. This preparation can be chilled as well. Once chilled, serve it in a bowl and line this bowl with lettuce or even the mixed greens.

Canned Salmon Soup

Ingredients
Butter (1 tablespoon)
All-purpose flour (1 tablespoon)
Chopped parsley
Milk (3 cups)
Onion (1 slice)
Salmon - 1 can (16 ounces)
Salt and pepper

Preparation
Melt some butter over medium heat in a pan. Now, add some flour. Now, in a separate saucepan, boil milk and add a slice of onion to this. Then remove onion and add this to the butter and flour mixture. Add milk gradually and meanwhile, keep stirring this mixture constantly. Cook this preparation till the mixture thickens. Then, remove the bones of the canned salmon and add salmon to this liquid mixture. Add some salt along with pepper to taste. Use the chopped parsley as a garnish.
