Chilean Sea Bass Recipes

Seafood has always been my weakness and I would probably never let an opportunity go by to sink my teeth into some sumptuous seafood delight! Amongst the many dishes I have tried, I must make a particular mention of the Patagonian Toothfish also known as the Chilean Sea Bass fish. This fish is used to whip up many mouth-watering delights for seafood lovers. Here's a look at some easy recipes you can have a fun time preparing at home.

Recipe 1

Ingredients
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Cajun/Creole seasoning
Chilean sea bass fillets (4)

Preparation
Begin by heating the oven to 425 F. Then use some olive oil to oil a baking pan and place the Sea Bass in the pan. Sprinkle the fish with some seasonings on both sides. Bake it at 425 F for around 20 minutes. You can adjust the time needed for the baking process as per the thickness of the fish. While serving, use some Salsa or an interesting sauce of your choice.

Recipe 2

Ingredients
Rice vinegar (3 Tablespoons)
Basil - fresh (1 teaspoon)
Garlic clove - minced (1)
Salt - divided (3/4 tsp)
Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
Chilean Sea Bass Fillets (4)
Crushed red pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
Pineapple preserves (4 Tablespoons)
Chilean Sea Bass Fillets (4)
Pineapple preserves (4 Tablespoons)

Preparation
Take a small bowl and add the basil, red pepper, preserves, garlic and vinegar to this. Sprinkle around teaspoon salt over these ingredients and in the meantime, preheat a broiler. Then spray the broiler with some cooking spray. Place the fish fillets in the pan. Take around teaspoon salt and black pepper and sprinkle it over the same. Broil it for 5 minutes and remove the same from the oven. Then, use some glaze to brush the fillets. Return it back to the oven and broil for another 5 minutes. Serve hot!

Recipe 3

Ingredients
Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
Flour (1 cup - spread on a plate)
Lime Juice (1 lemon)
Butter (1 tablespoon)
Fresh lemon juice (2 ounces)
Small cubes zucchini (1 cup)
Cooked black beans (2 cups)
Tabasco sauce (3 drops)
Chopped tomatoes (1 cup - with juices)
Yellow, red and green bell pepper - cored and sliced (1/2 each)
Skinless and boneless Chilean Sea Bass fillets (2 pounds)

Preparation
Heat some oil in an ovenproof pan. Next, use some salt and pepper as seasoning for the fish. Once done, dip the fish fillets in flour. Ensure it is coated lightly. Now, place fish in hot oil. Next, pour lime juice over the fish and cook it for around 4 minutes. Once done, place this pan in the oven and cook the same for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, melt some butter in a pan and add the vegetables. Let it cook for at least 10 minutes. Then, pour beans into a blender and add some lemon juice and Tabasco so that it becomes a puree. Now, pour the pureed beans into the saucepan. Once done, place the pureed beans onto a plate. Cut the fish into two halves and place it over the bean sauce. Also, place the vegetables at the base of the fillets and serve!
